We loved our last very sturdy hiking backpack from REI ! Unfortunately on this one, the front strap across my husband’s chest broke on our first hikeOther than that it’s been great !!
My hubby and I are pretty avid hikers and needed something bring the toddler in. Pros Easy to use even while wearing it. High weight limit. Stirrups were a plus. Read a review about how the stirrups didn't always come in the standard pack so I was happy they do now. My daughter was comfortable enough to fall asleep on the hike. This happened 2 of the first 3 times we used it. I was comfortable too. I am fairly well versed in hiking packs. This is basically the same. Cons. I wish I had trained up a bit more before our 6 mile hike. I just sort of went for it and my muscles were soar for the next two days. That subsided on my next hike. But wish the company had maybe given me a heads up to work out more prior to hitting the long trail. All in all I would recommend it if you like to hike on trails the with your toddler.
We used this carrier to carry my 45 pound son during a road trip to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park. It took a little bit to get the carrier comfortable for my wife and I, but once we figured it out, it was definitely better than the previous 2 carriers we've tried. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and how solid the construction is. I highly recommend this carrier, it is well worth the price!
We are happy with the product. Very expensive though as a Canadian with the exchange, shipping and duty (cost us $600 CAD!). Wish there was a Canadian Distibutor
Perfect for carrying the worlds heaviest toddler. Found that the side pocket zippers wont work when work, have to take the pack off to unzip or zip them. Not a huge deal but it makes pulling the phone out for pictures on hikes a hassle when alone
